My Six Guys and my One little Miss

Everyone always says I don't know how you do it! When talking about me running a daycare.I SO love my little guys and little miss! Yes it can be very stressful at times for sure! They also are so fascinating, funny, and have the best imaginations ever! Yes I do want to scream at the top of my lungs sometimes, but also they make me laugh much much more. Just some random funny things they say. He says " I'm pooping" I say lets go on the potty like a BIG BOY! He says " No I'm a small boy "
One brings a toy airplane from home He says " My peeka ( his aunt that he calls peeka cuz she always played peeka boo with him) got me this at the washing machine for cars" ( Car Wash)
another little guy I say oh you should tell your mom that! He says " No my Daddy ! My Mommy is sleeping" ( His Mommy just had his baby brother so Daddy brings him in the mornings while Mommy is still sleeping. So I guess he thinks in his mind she is sleeping all day! I'm sure she wished that was true!
Another ,He says " Take my shirt off over my noggin my head ! Points at his head my noggin.
or Miss Risa I love you infinity! When they point at green and call it Hulk or at yellow and call it bumble bee! Scream when the timer beeps dinners ready! Even if its because its on for a time out. I could go on and on!
In March I got the new baby brother, I forgot how hard baby's are! WOW! Thank goodness my favorite guy of all has been home to help me! That would be Ted, the little gang love him so much they follow him every where! If it wasn't for him I really don't know how I would have survived the new addition to my day! What are we going to do when he starts his new job?

I think we will all be walking around for a bit not knowing what to do. So I just want to say thank you to Ted for all you do! Thank you to my five little guys and my one little miss for making my days full of fun and adventure. I can never say I have a boring day!
I love ya all! Miss Risa

I second what Jeanette wrote. They are lucky to have you and it sounds like you feel lucky to have them. You're great! And Ted too!

You are amazing! I have been doing daycare for just 2 little girls--2 years and 8 months. Now I have just one (the 2-year-old's mom just graduated from college) and even though I didn't hate it, I'm relieved to only have one because with both of them, it seemed so difficult to do anything--like getting my hair cut or going to the dentist. I felt very tied down because it was my job and I couldn't get someone to watch them (like I would if they were my own kids) so I could do stuff like that. And you're right--you forget how much work babies are. I got the 8 month old when she was 6 weeks old. Babies are a lot of work--but also very sweet!

Super cute post. You and Ted are both amazing. I would have you watch my kids in a heartbeat if you lived by me. Those kids (and parents) are lucky to have found you!

I haven't checked you blog in a while...it was so fun to check and find lots of posts to read! Well, this is repetitive, but those kids are lucky to have you! I still remember how good you always were with kids--you have a gift!
